Welcome to my music studio!
I'm Payton McIntyre, a passionate musician based out of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, dedicated to sharing the joy of music with students of all ages. I teach violin, viola, cello, bass, ukulele, beginning guitar and voice. My teaching method stems from the Suzuki philosophy that through a nurturing environment ANYONE can learn to play an instrument. Just as they learned their primary language, students in my studio use listening, modeling/copying, and positive repetition to hone their craft.

Payton has been teaching 3 of my children violin and viola for over 2 years.
